During an oil change, also check the level and condition of your transmission fluid.

Has your transmission fluid changed according to the manufacturer's specifications? We recommend every 15,000 to 20,000 miles.

Vehicles that are heavily used should have the fluid and filters changed more frequently and could possibly benefit from the installation of an auxiliary cooler.

Leaks under the vehicle could be a potential problem and should be addressed as soon as possible.

Check around the radiator and air ducts for obstructions and debris.

Check the condition of your vehicle's hoses and belts, and replace any that appear cracked or leaking.

Don't use overdrive on mountainous terrain or while towing.
